Too hard to fix?
You perhaps saw the group of blokes after a night out in Boston (Lincs) caught on CCTV fixing a damaged cycle rack. It made me think here’s a Social Marketing initiative in the making for local authorities – especially given the social media coverage it would attract.
Imagine if we could all wake up to parking cones removed from statues, litter in bins, graffiti erased, saplings replanted, bus shelters glazed, garden gnomes in improved positions… there’s a brave new world of opportunities for over-exuberant revellers to outdo one another. What makes you harder, repairing some keyed bodywork on a Porsche, or replacing the plastic barriers around a hole dug in the road?
