So, ‘One Pound Fish’ never made it to Christmas No.1. Still, it’s not often that a song about Sales Promotion gets into the charts, never mind threatens to reach such rarefied heights.
The lyrics came under fire from the purists. But, as a copywriter, I have to say they do the job with elegant economy. Navigation, benefit and offer packed into three syllables.
Indeed, it doesn’t stop there, and Mr Nazir demonstrates the NEWAIDA™ communication model with natural aplomb. If he doesn’t mind, I think I’ll be referring to him in future training sessions. On Fridays, only, of course.
