Tooth and claw
I heard a radio ad the other day urging me to avoid sugary snacks and drinks between meals. Evidently September is Colgate Oral Health Month, and this was part of the consumer campaign.
Many moons ago I worked at Cadbury and, while the gloves were well and truly off with Mars and Rowntree, I don’t think I ever imagined I’d be on the end of knocking-copy from a toothpaste brand.
Of course, the present-day ad is just reminding us of what we already know, but somehow when you consider it in the context of the high-profile brands it’s aimed at, it does provide additional food for thought.
